Rev 3:14-22 - The Lukewarm Church

How do we keep from being lukewarm?

This is not a full comprehensive list - but are what the Holy Spirit has laid on my heart at this time to share.

1. The Word - meditate on it day and night and percolate - Joshua 1:8

2. Keep short accounts - temptation James 1:13-15; James 4:5-10; 1 Cor 10:13 - tempted refers to any test which Satan may put before us to bring out evil in our lives if he can or a direct solicitation to do evil. Temptation - solicit to do evil. Resist the devil and he will flee.

3. Fellowship with the saints & love one another - John 13:34

4. Pray in the Holy Ghost - without ceasing - 1 Thess 5:16-18

5. Be a light, salt and a city set on a hill - Matt 5:13-16

6. Look up and don’t be ignorant - 1 Thess 4:13-18
