Zechariah began his ministry 16 years after the return from Babylonian captivity in 520/519 BC. His prophecy took place in the 4th year of Darius. He may have seen the completion of the temple in 515BC(Ezra 6:15). He was a contemporary with Haggai

CHRIST’S JUDGMENT
The vision of the flying scroll 5:1-4
The vision of the ephah(dry measure - 22 litres) vessel 5:5-11
The vision of the four chariots 6:1-8 - pointing to the four judgment horses in Rev 6 when the seven seals are unleashed upon earth during the Tribulation
Christ has been appointed by God to carry out judgment upon the living and the dead - Jn 5:22; Acts 10:42; Acts 17:31; 2 Tim 4:1
On one hand Christ is the Redeemer and the Saviour. On the other hand He is the Judge
ACCORDING TO ZECHARIAH
Christ will judge stealing - sin towards men Zech 5:3b;4b
Christ will judge the matter of swearing falsely by Jehovah’s Name - sin towards God Zech 5:3c;4c; Lev 19:12
Christ will judge the entire human government signified in Daniel 2:31-45. He is the last Craftsman(Carpenter) Zech 1:20 - the stone cut without hands that will smash this great image from the toes to the head. He will remove from earth all stealing, false swearing by Jehovah’s Name and all human government. All enemies of Israel shall be destroyed
INCREDIBLE VICTORY
One incredible victory at His Second Coming will be the salvation of Israel Zech 12:9,10; Zech 13:8,9; Rom 11:26,27
There will be a day of great victory against all nations Zech 14:1-9; Rev 16:14
Christ’s 1st coming was lowly, yet Christ’s 2nd coming shall be victorious
